ETHNO CHIP 7" - NACHTS IM BUSCH
Black Vinyl Version, limited to 100 hand numbered copies.
We are very happy that after more than 40 years it works with a re-release of a 7" that was always very close to my heart.
At the beginning of the 80s there was a radio DJ, Tommy Rinnstein, who was on RADIO BREMEN here in Germany. did his Best of the Rest show. All this was at the beginning of the so-called cassette scene. Well, we were recording these shows and Tommy played a piece by a German group to his listeners at the time, whose name we didn't really understand because of Tommy's mumbling, so I wrote it down how it sounded. F No Ship.
Well, of course that was total nonsense and that's why I've never been able to find out anything about this group. BUT....now I finally know the name of this group and what the song is.
The single was first released in Berlin in 1981 on the Fabrikneu label.
At that time, this label belonged to Claudia Skoda, known as a west-berlin avant-garde fashion designer and icon of the Berlin underground scene active since the 70s in Berlin and New York.
